I have worked as a customer service associate, focusing on problem resolution and customer service skills to enhance customer satisfaction. I have demonstrated proficiency in money handling and team collaboration, contributing to a better shopping experience for customers and work experience for co-workers. I was committed to maintaining safety and service standards and protocols. I was a very enthusiastic and motivated worker who tried my best to also be a team player. I worked well both independently and within team settings to achieve our goals. I made sure to improve my communication and problem solving skills throughout work experience.
I engaged with customers by greeting them and helping them with products and orders. I provided customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service. I often worked at the register. I would collect cash and distribute change as requested, process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. If the store was less busy than usual, I would work in the photo booth. I would print and package a variety of sizes of photos, including posters and photobooks. I kept counters and shelves clean and well merchandised by facing and organizing them when the shift was slow. On days when the truck arrived with products, I unloaded merchandise into the storage room. I also took out the garbage bags from every garbage can in the store and took them out to the dumpster near the end of every shift to allow the morning shift to have more space to work with. When on the floor, I also used the company-held-hand device to carry out orders, such as same-day orders, which required me to package orders for customers picking them up on the same day. I was required to use an earpiece to communicate with coworkers to avoid using the intercom too frequently. Every few months, I was required to complete online training programs to make sure I was up-to-date with company protocols and rules.
I mainly worked as a customer service associate but also as a cleaner and product/food organizer at this bakery. When working at the front of the store i would bag customers foods and products then ring them up. When there weren't any customers present, i would focus on organizing stock and cleaning the store by sweeping, and mopping the floors, and washing the bread trays. I would also sometimes help the bread maker by finding and bringing materials over to them. I would organize stock by making sure everything was in the right spot and moving products over to make space for new things.
