Isaac Saldua

I have been a varsity basketball team manager for a Nike Elite High School team, which is a title given to the top-tier basketball teams in the nation sponsored by Nike. My duties include making preparations for daily practices and upcoming basketball games, whether at home or traveling, packing supplies and gear for away games, communicating with the coaches, the players, and other team managers. I would also assist coaches and players by preparing the bench with towels and water for the players and clipboards with scouting reports and in-game plays for the coaches. I would also film games for coaches to reference back to. Most of these responsibilities do not involve direct supervision from superiors and require attention to detail, time management, and good communication skills. This past year, as a manager, I have assisted both coaches and players through their journey of achieving three Northern California championships, which has progressed them to the state playoffs, while maintaining a 4.40 GPA.
