Work closely with a certified teacher, to help facilitate and support students in a kindergarten classroom.

• Assist with small group instruction: help 4-6 students at a time with reading, math, or writing tasks.
• Monitor student progress and help assist students with IEPs, individually.
• Encourage healthy and safe social interactions between students during recess.
• Perform administrative tasks: providing help with operating student Chromebooks, setting up displays, and prepping any supplies needed for the class.
• Completed trainings: Mandated Reporter, Workplace Violence Prevention, Youth Suicide Pre/Postvention, and Title XI Compliance.

• Literacy Lab: Helping children gain greater literacy skills through peer reading and vocabulary.
• Working with children in grades Kindergarten to 3rd.

• On-campus convenience store: brewed coffees, greeted customers, counted and stocked inventory, handled pastries, warm foods, and kept the store presentable.
• Deepened my ability to multitask by engaging in in-store responsibilities, and checking customers out at the register.
• Strengthened my organizational and time management skills, as I balanced work with being a full-time student
