I worked in the kitchen area so I had to make pizzas and handle them after they came out of the oven as well as get people their drinks. I had to make snacks such as pretzels and other snack items when people requested them. I got people their drinks and handled the cash register too. When we were closed I also had to clean the kitchen area, help clean tables and seats, and I had to clean the male and female restrooms.
Technically this was volunteer work to earn money for a trip with my schools marching band to Disney world. I worked in the kitchen and helped set up before people arrived. I had to set out snack foods like cracker Jack's as well as napkins and sauces. I helped put the food together like the cheese burgers, arranged the chicken tenders in the baskets, getting and fixing up pretzels, and getting people drinks. When we were closing up I helped the other volunteers clean up the front and take everything to the back. This mainly included wiping down the counter tops and washing everything that was used to cook to put it away
I was supposed to go on a trip with my friends so I helped my grandma out with things at her barber shop. I didn't have to do much since I was only helping her out for a few days but I was mainly there to clean. My responsibilities included sweeping up hair, getting towels, keeping her hair cutting tools clean and sanitized, vacuuming and mopping her floors, watering her plants, and keeping her waiting area organized and clean
My dad works at Franklin heights as an athletic trainer and one day he had to go to a football game but he took me with him. I was only in middle school so all I had to do was get the football players their water but it was a great experience
