I have worked a number of jobs over the last four years. Being a nanny for three years now and being a lifeguard over the summer got me more comfortable with CPR, AED, and other safety measures. Working as a lifeguard got me into uncomfortable weather conditions and taught me how to work around it to keep everyone safe. As a nanny I have been put in charge of a kid that isn't mine and have to watch out for her well being. Even when taking her out in public, I have to make sure I have the right materials for wherever we are going that day. This has helped me to become better at taking care of someone else and help others when they need it.

I volunteered at CHI Bergan Mercy hospital for 3 years and volunteered every Wednesday. I was able to learn my way around and figure different things out. I became one of the teen leads to help out the main leader of this group. I volunteered almost 120 hours here. I loved the community that I found there. I was able to volunteer on the labor and delivery floor and postpartum floor. Even though I wasn't doing much I was able to experience what its like when there is a lot going on at once and I enjoyed it.
