Driven by a commitment to community and excellence, I leveraged teamwork and public speaking skills at Capital Christian High School, enhancing student success and safety. My role as a Teacher's Assistant and Volunteer showcased my ability to lead projects, significant improvement of campus facilities, raised funds that demonstrated my attention to detail and positive attitude.
My High School campus football bleacher seating had become dangerous due to rotting walkway planks. I worked with a team of volunteers who endured the sweltering heat as we unbolted, removed, replaced, and painted over 100 walkway planks. Safety was restored as we beautified and reconstructed our beloved home and visitor bleachers. I felt satisfied with the team and myself accomplishing our goal. From ninth through twelfth grade, I participated in the design and presentation of our class homecoming float. I helped create a document to acquire building supplies and paints which made our team successful in constructing the float. These donations greatly deferred the lumber and hardware costs needed to create our masterpiece. After building the float, my team and I felt a great sense of accomplishment. Sophomore year I joined the high school softball team and took part in remodeling our dugouts by raising over $1000. The players and coaches benefited from this campus improvement.
