Assisted in performing experiments to understand the molecular mechanism behind motor neuron degeneration in diseases like amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and spinal muscular atrophy using animal models and cell culture. Experiments include western blot analysis, genotyping, PCR, gel electrophoresis, plasmid transfection and immunoprecipitation.

Helping prepare solutions, organize/ distribute lab materials, and maintain safety protocols for all General Chemistry courses at The Ohio State University.
