Being in communion with Christ the congregation is the foundational piece to serving at any church. Everything else builds off of that fact.
Participation in practice, team building, and community events allow for unity in order to serve those within the Church and outside as well.
The responsibility to bring my best before the Lord whether when I was serving or not is required. First fruits are the Lord's.
Contribution of encouragement and fostering and good attitude in the face of confrontation or difficult seasons is necessary to maintain a pace of worship that is holy before the Lord.
Assisted in participating in outreach events such as worship nights or workshops aimed at reaching local community through worship.
Supported a cohesive team environment through effective communication and active participation in team meetings and rehearsals.
As a Lifeguard at the Y I adhered to the guidelines placed before me.
These guidelines consisted of the following:
I stayed well versed in First Aid and CPR by frequently practicing my skills and renewing my First Aid and CPR certification every two years.
I paid attention to my responsibilities and completed the tasks given to me such as helping patrons, testing water, and prioritizing the safety of the pool and patrons.
I maintained the safety of the pool by enforcing the rules, assisting patrons, and preventing injuries from happening.
As with any worship team a foundation built on Jesus is the most important part of any part of the Church functioning.
Being a worship team member for a Youth Group requires being engaged in the life of the youth group. This includes participation in youth events, forming and maintaining relationships with fellow students, and curating unity with the worship team.
Participation in regular practice sessions to ensure an atmosphere that is quality during services and events.
Attending practices regularly and fostering an environment that brings glory to God.
My job at the Albert Lea Aquatic Center consists of the prioritization of patrons, quick thinking and problem solving, and customer service.
The monopolization of the pool is one of the most important parts if the Lifeguard job description. Being able to quickly make decisions and problem solve in the face of extreme pressure and stress is what is required.
The safety of patrons comes first. Being well versed in First Aid and CPR is critical. Inservices are held once a week to help Lifeguards stay fresh with their skills.
Lifeguards help maintain a clean and safe facility. Cleaning, and upholding hygiene is required.
The Albert Lea Aquatic Center's facility is located outside, so mentoring weather signs to keep the pool a safe place is necessary.
I had the privilege of serving on my youth groups worship team at Swan Lake Christian Camp June 22-27, 2025.
I helped support campers both spiritually and emotionally by answering questions, leading discussions, leading worship, and through prayer. The Lord opened opportunities to minister to campers and provide support to those who needed it. Fostering an atmosphere that directed praise to the Lord was vital to the overall culture of the camp. Not only did worship help facilitate this, but it also provided opening for Holy Spirit to move in ways that resonated and ministered to the campers.
Some things that I did as a Basketball Manager was support the team in various ways.
- I helped with taking stats
- I supported with encouragement to the players and coaches whether verbal or emotional
- I helped with collecting uniforms after games and help on the bus with loading and unloading equipment
- Worked in tandem with the coaches to help achieve a successful season
