Summary

In this last year I have developed precision and efficiency in the healthcare environment of sterile processing. I adhere to guidelines and maintain safety and cleanliness standards. My leaders have only good things to say about my efficiency in getting things done. I have also worked for about 3 months as morning coordinator/lead for our facility while our current leader was on maternity leave. A lot of people were sad to see me go from that position. I worked on counting sterile stats from the day before, and manage OR requests, priorities and staff. I have experience in decontamination of instruments including, sonic cleaning, handwashing, mechanical cleaning with thermal disinfection washers, manual cleaning of endoscopes and manual and automated high level disinfection of endoscopes and TEE probes. As a shift lead I worked to manage the crew and make sure everything was running efficiently.

I handled customer complaints when the manager was not around, and helped staff when needed.

I assigned closing tasks and made sure everything was clean by the standards we were given and made sure everyone left or got picked up before leaving. I was also responsible for counting the cash in the register and putting it in the safe at the end of the night and splitting any cash tips between all members.

As a part-time opener when I opened I was responsible for making daily ice-cream, frosting cakes needed for the day/custom cakes for pickup, helped customers, maintained cleaning tasks, all with help from only the manager on the days she was there. There were days I was there alone.
