Isaiah Blythe

I have been blessed to volunteer as a keyboardist and occasional vocalist at my home church, Light Christian Center, since January of 2024. I volunteer at least twice a month, attending a worship team practice during the week in the evening, a Sunday morning practice before the church service, and then playing keyboard during the church service. I have also gotten to serve my church in volunteering during a youth fundraiser in the summer of 2024, and getting to minister during a Sunday service in the spring of 2024. My church also had a youth worship team for around one year over the course of 2023 and 2024 that I was also blessed to be a part of and help lead.

I volunteered as a camp counselor's assistant in the summer of 2024, and as a head camp counselor in the summer of 2025, and plan to continue volunteering at the COGOP Christian summer camp for children in elementary school. This experience taught me the responsibility of looking out for the lives and wellbeing of those younger than myself, and to treat those around me with respect and kindness.

Volunteered as a dining room attendant, pizza maker. and cashier for the Living Stones Christmas Train pizzeria, Big Al's Pizza, for four Decembers in a row. Volunteering here definitely helped me learn to work under pressure, as the pizzeria was constantly stormed with an excessive amount of orders, since it was only open on select evenings during the Christmas season. This volunteer experience also taught me how to collaborate and work with others, as well as learn from and take heed to managerial instruction.
