Isaiah Janz

As an intern at the Blue Earth County Historical Society, I worked mainly in the research room handling physical and digital documents and photos, gathering information for customer inquires and putting together new informational documents relating to people, places, and objects. I published a comprehensive newsletter article relating to musicians in Mankato at the end of my internship at BECHS.

In this position, I support cashier operations by efficiently retrieving shopping carts and baskets for customer use from the parking lot, I help to maintain cleanliness of the store premises, resulting in an inviting shopping environment for customers. I also strive to provide exceptional customer service, addressing concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally. And I also help customers take merchandise out of store and load items into their vehicles.

In this position at Pahl's Market, I assisted customers with finding requested plants and flowers, I swept and kept the grounds of the premises clean, I partook in successful harvests in the greenhouses by carefully selecting ripe produce according to established guidelines, I loaded heavy objects into customer's vehicles, and I assisted in the creation of floral displays according to the season.
