• Shadowing/Volunteer Medical Assistant, Texoma Arthritis Clinic, 01/26, Shadowed a physician in a clinic daily to observe patient visits and discuss treatment. Provided logistical service for the doctor by ordering labs/prescriptions, translating patient symptoms, scribing/dictating charts, and writing patient intake paperwork using EMR software.
• Project Manager + Marketing Lead, Cherryish Yourself, 01/23, Promoted to project manager whilst retaining lead position overseeing a team of 20-30 members. Gained experience leading a group of leads and managing output from multiple teams as we launched new campaigns and merchandise. Led product design and media teams to produce daily content, coordinate multiple events, and manage our streetwear/lifestyle brand advocating for sexual assault awareness.
• Clinical/Surgical Assistant, International Esperanza Project, 03/18, Helped run a clinic to triage, diagnose, and treat the local citizens of Tecpan, Guatemala. Assisted surgeons as a circular in the OR to operate on patients. Shadowed doctors in the clinic and the OR to observe and regulate treatment while assisting in communication with patients. Built stoves and water filters in the homes of the indigenous Kaqchikel to create more sustainable living conditions.
• Youth Advisory Board Founder, International Esperanza Project, 03/18, Founded the Youth Advisory Board to incorporate students of all ages from different schools on a board to coordinate efforts to improve the educational level of local schools in Guatemala. Led educational programs for students to learn English, math, and science, hence implementing internet access to educational programs online as well as international tutoring. Fundraised to sponsor both students and teachers to create sustainable education.
• Coordinator, Debate for the Dallas Youth, 06/18, Helped organize a free summer debate camp for disadvantaged students in Dallas to learn about/become more involved in debate before and during high school.
• Member, Baylor Scott & White - Volunteers in Medicine, 03/20, Continuously participated in monthly volunteer activities such as community building at food shelters and churches.
• Project Supervisor, IB CAS project, 09/19, Organized/ran a health fair to provide medical assistance/information for those in need in the local Dallas area.
• Member, National Honors Society, 05/20, Volunteer experience in many outlets such as CAS projects for other students, food drives, clothing drives, book drives, community gardens, etc for at least 24 hours a semester.
