Versatile and dynamic Temporary General Cellar Technician with a proven track record at Delicato Family Wines, adept in equipment maintenance and bilingual communication. During harvest was hired on as a lead to guide a group temporary group of workers to complete winemaking requests. I mainly supervised the shipping department, but I am also proficient at the following type of jobs:
1. Racking tanks
2. Shipping from warehouse to warehouse
3. Building stave tanks
4. Ingredient additions
5. Drain & press closed fermented tanks and open top fermented tanks
6. Rack barrels to tank & rack tank to barrels
7. Build lines to transfer wine/juice from various locations
8. Wash/clean tanks, presses, crush pit, line jumpers, augers.
9. Can start cross flow filter only
10. Pump overs for closed fermented tanks and open fermented tanks.
11. Can operate crane to dump and process red/white grapes.
12. Can operate dump trucks to dispose pomace
13. Can also operate forklift
14. Warm tanks to speed up red fermentation
15. Can operate bucher/diemmies to receive and process grapes.
During this time I worked for a temp agency labor force. I came on board with Azcona Harvesting to work as a general cellar technician. During this time I was a Lead for the pump over department and also for some seasons I worked in the shipping department. I also stayed a bit longer to help receive juice at Alba Coast Winery. I performed the following jobs for Alba Coast Winery:
1. Ozone and gassed red wood tanks
2. Wash/clean tanks
3. Receive/Ship juice from warehouse to warehouse
4. Ingredient additions to tanks
5. Landscaping and general maintenance
6. Topping tanks
7. Pulling samples and gathering DO information for lab analysis
