When I'm working, I try to be the exact type of employee that I would want to hire if I was not only the manager-but the owner. Years of experience in dealing with various types of people in various environments has helped me see many things more clearly. The most important of which, is how to effectively work with human behavior rather than against it. I suppose that's a crucial attribute in any consumer centric business. As you may have heard many times before, how you do one thing is how you do everything. As an employee, you can always deprecate your position and give the bare minimum effort needed for a consistent paycheck. However, that attitude will always translate to most if not all other aspects in your life. And that attitude will always breed the same results of mediocrity and disappointed expectations. That's the opposite of the life I want. So whether I'm clocked in or not, I try to behave in accordance to the standards I've set for my life present and future
