• Convoy Missions
• Driver

- As the driver of the MATV, I'm responsible for safely navigating our team through challenging terrain Syria. Operated the vehicle with precision and caution, constantly assessing the surroundings for any potential threats or obstacles. My focus is on maintaining situational awareness and adhering to established protocols to minimize risks and ensure the safety of everyone on board. Communication with the rest of the team, including the gunner and passengers, is essential for effective coordination and response to any emergent situations.

• Gunner

As a gunner on a MATV, my primary responsibility is to provide security and protection for the vehicle and its crew. I operate the mounted weapon system, scanning the surrounding area for any potential threats. My role is crucial in ensuring the safety of our convoy and mission.

• Base Defense

Safeguarding the military installation and maintaining operational readiness. By ensuring the security and integrity of military bases, personnel, and equipment, military forces can effectively carry out their missions with confidence, efficiency, and security. This includes defending against external threats, maintaining vigilance against potential risks, and implementing robust security measures to protect assets and personnel.

• NCOIC/Guard for the ECP (Entry Controlled Point)

Identity Verification: Checking identification cards, badges, or other credentials to confirm the identity and authorization of individuals seeking entry.

Security Screening: Conduct security screenings, which included checking bags and patting down every personnel before entering the installation.

Vehicle Inspections: Conducting inspections of vehicles entering the facility to ensure compliance with security protocols and to detect any prohibited items or threats.

Logging: Keeping a log book updated with every personnel and vehicle entering or leaving the installation.

Communication: Communicated with incoming personnel, visitors, and other security personnel, as well as maintain communication with higher headquarters and command center.

• Leading and supervising the activities of the 240 Gunner, ensuring he is well-trained, disciplined, and ready to execute assigned tasks effectively.
• Conducted regular training exercises and drills to ensure that squad member is proficient in the operation, maintenance, and employment of crew-served weapons, as well as in tactical maneuvers and combat techniques.

• Jails

- Monitored cameras from centralized control room staffed by security personnel. These stations are equipped with monitors displaying live feeds from various cameras around the facility

- Opened controlled doors for the Correction Officers as they entered their pods and doors for the inmates

• Observation Post

- Observed certain areas in the Foothills of Yuma,AZ for potentially illegal entry into the USA

-Observed and report any suspicious activity

• Camera Van Operator

- Outfitted with high-resolution cameras capable of capturing images and videos of vehicles on the border

- Worked alongside with law enforcement

- Monitored any traffic on foot

• Responsible for carrying, maintaining, and operating the squad's light machine gun. This includes loading and unloading ammunition, clearing jams or malfunctions, and ensuring the weapon is ready for use at all times.
• Worked closely with other members of the squad to employ fire and maneuver tactics. While the Saw Gunner provides suppressive fire, other members of the squad maneuver to flank or assault enemy positions, exploiting the advantage provided by the machine gun's firepower.
