Issane Bouraima

• Educational program in which teen leaders (myself) teach young kids ages 5-8 how to read and also assist with homework
• Occasional workshops where the focus is on teen leaders’ future careers.

• Participants learn of things pertaining to the African diaspora. Using this information, created masks, performances and other visual art pieces that taught the things we learned.

• Acquired technological and professional skills to enhance future career opportunities.

• Worked online in figuring out future potential job careers.

• Took care of kids at a daycare; fed them, played with them, taught them, put them to sleep, washed dishes, and watched them on mini trips to the park.

• Took care of kids at a summer camp. Accompanied them on trips and made sure they were safe.

• Employed by my school to scan, label, stack and organize books in classrooms. Also dusted shelves when needed.
