Motivated nursing graduate with ADN from Galveston College seeking an opportunity to use the earned skills and knowledge to assist your facility in a nursing role. I am eager to further my education and gain experience ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Through my nursing program I had the opportunity to gain clinical experience at The Crossings Methodist, St. Joseph Medical Center, UTMB Galveston, Shriners Hospital for Children, and UTMB League City. Throughout my studies I gained knowledge of the importance of working as part of a team. Seeing it firsthand during clinical rotation, I witnessed the collaboration it takes to care for patients safely and effectively. I realized the importance of patients being involved in their decisions regarding health care. Having awareness of an individuals emotions and respect of their culture and background builds trust and respect. Most importantly, I've learned that being honest, showing compassion, and keep individuals needs a priority is critical to nursing care. I am accustomed to multitasking and working quickly to meet challenging demands. Considered hardworking and reliable with great interpersonal skills.
