  • Overview: Farmers Insurance is organized into several Business Units that focus on different aspects of its insurance products and services. Specialty BU provides insurance for homes and rental properties. This project covers various enhancements for key applications including NSS aka NextSTAR, Legacy, Duck STAR (Specialty Dwelling), Duck-MH (Mobile Home), Duck-CMH (Commercial Mobile Home). Capgemini is providing Production Support, Application Services, Testing services and Non-production Environment Support Services to a set of Farmers Insurance applications.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead sprint planning for Manufactured Home, Specialty Dwelling Duck Creek work items backlog. The goal is to finalize the scope, identify obstacles, and finalize the sprint goal by collaborating with the product owner, business consultants, and team.
  • Monitor and triage all kinds of defects in Rally as per the complexity to the team.
  • Responsible to work on critical and high priority defects with detailed analysis and root cause analysis.
  • Responsible for providing solutions for new issues and providing technical workaround steps for the impacted policies.
  • Create a High Level Design Document outlining the specific issues.
  • Debugging and troubleshooting the complex system issues to fix critical defects and assigning to the responsible teams by providing key inputs with technical solutions.
  • Responsible for resolution of issues and Change requests related to Coverages, Billing, Bill Plan, Downstream. Collaborate with Development Lead and Business while addressing the related issues.
  • Timely fixing defects and resolution of issues thus improving the customer satisfaction index.
