Martial Arts

Starting martial arts is the best decision I've ever made. It gave me a purpose, a passion to pour my life into and in return I got many things: extreme physical fitness, proficiency in self defense, lifelong friends, but it wasn't just material. Martial arts allowed me to build my mental fortitude and focus. It gave me self confidence and a sense of accomplishment. It gave me the passion for self improvement and the iron will to follow through. While I don't actively practice martial arts anymore since my instructor left, the life lessons it taught me will stay with me for the rest of my life and I don't know where I would be today if it weren't for martial arts.
