Analytical Skills

  • Conducted threat/risk assessments and developed Emergency Operation Plans for Lamar Elementary and Robert Lee Middle School in San Angelo, TX. Emergency plans were presented to San Angelo Independent School District and were adopted by the two schools. Presented school Emergency Operation Plans at the 17thEmergency Management Higher Education Symposium in Emittsburg, MD.

Law Enforcement/Military

  • Earned the Navy Achievement Medal during Operation Iraqi Freedom 3 for maintaining the unit's 39 tactical vehicles, which allowed for a 95% operational readiness, personally responsible for over $1.5 million of command equipment with no deficiencies, losses or damages, and for expanding multi-lateral relations with the United States and Iraq to strengthen security and partnership.
  • Developed excellent knowledge of Federal and State laws, regulations and procedures affecting probation,detention and rehabilitation programs.
  • Spearheaded Marines in over 65 mounted patrols and convoys during Operation Iraqi Freedom 6-7 on missions such as interdiction patrols, Explosive Ordinance Disposal and vehicle recovery, cordon and knocks, vehicle check points, census patrols, observation patrols, logistic convoys, and route clearance patrols.
