As a packaging mechanic, I am responsible for set-up, maintenance and operation of high speed PLC-controlled automatic packaging equipment.

- Sets up and changeovers various automated packaging machinery.

-Maintains and troubleshoots vertical form/fill/seal mashines, tablet filling, labeling , wrapping and bundling equipment.

-Initiate purchase of required tools, parts.

- Execute all packaging machinery validation/engineering studies.

- Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and set up and parameter changes to robotic component handling systems, PLC controlers, barcode scanning, and OCR/OCV vision equipment.

-Set-up and adjustment of laser printing, barcode scanning and different vision sistems.

- Perform preventive maintenance in order to sustain line performance.

- Operate drill press, grinder and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.

As a maintenance technician, I was responsible for setting up and performing changeovers on production lines, troubleshooting and repairing various types of equipment, and conducting preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

- Set up and performed changeovers on complex production lines, ensuring efficient and timely production processes.

- Diagnosed and repaired pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic test equipment.

- Maintained and optimized conveyor systems and nitrogen delivery systems to meet stringent quality and safety standards.

- Set up and troubleshooting robot cells.

- Aligned and calibrated a range of sensors with precision to ensure accurate measurements and consistent quality output.

- Operated and maintained injection molding machines to maximize output and minimize waste.

- Conducted daily preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of production machinery, minimizing downtime and reducing maintenance costs.

- Collaborated with engineering and quality teams to identify and implement modifications and upgrades to production machinery, resulting in continuous process improvements and increased production efficiency.

-Led the training and development of newly hired maintenance technicians.
