Accomplishments

  • I am a pre-medical student at the University of South Florida with a strong foundation in public health and clinical experience. I currently work as a medical scribe in a cardiology practice, where I document patient encounters and gain firsthand insight into cardiovascular care. I have shadowed physicians in orthopedic surgery, bariatric surgery, and anesthesiology, and have volunteered in both hospital settings and homeless shelters, providing non-medical support and engaging in community service. My academic work and passion for medicine have been recognized through two feature publications by the USF College of Public Health. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, and I plan to take the MCAT by January 2026, applying in the 2026–2027 medical school cycle with the goal of becoming an interventional cardiologist.
