Enthusiastic and highly skilled professional, with experience in high profile, complicated, and challenging assignments.
Collaborated on a high-profile project to enhance management’s capability to capture employee behaviors in support of the employee’s performance goals, currently I am a part of the Documentation Administration Tracker Project as a Detail assignment.
Utilizing my analytical and organizational skills to further develop a documentation tracking system tool. The project has several phases: Planning, Requirements, Design, Development, Testing, Training, and Implementation. The Documentation Administration Tracker helps to establish the roles and responsibilities intended to create functions and administrative details for documenting employee performance, conduct, awards, attendance, and miscellaneous responsibilities.
Responsibilities included collecting, compiling and analyzing the data needed to serve as a comprehensive guide for evaluation, reporting, and recording processes for management to evaluate employee performance roles and requirements. The detail involved providing comprehensive intake procedures, parameters for documenting documents, understanding assessment queries and applicable guidelines for collecting and documenting employee performance.
Daily responsibilities, assignments include participating in the development and documentation of processes, the testing of database algorithm queries for the reporting tools and as well as being an integral part in the collaboration of SharePoint with the database tools, i.e. Documentation Application Tool, Mandatory Training Tracker, Specialized Training and Credentialing Tracker, and the Escalated Issue Tracker. Impending projects include; application tool SOP’s, staff socialization material in PowerPoint, and five Job Task Analysis (JTA) documents to support the CSAC Unit of the APS Section.
Prior to the detail I was selected by Management to participate in NFIP Pilot Call Center of 30 agents for the NFIP Support Line Tier 2 for advanced inquiries for English and Spanish speaking clients, answering incoming calls and responding to general status inquiries, taking messages or escalating calls to the appropriate department or staff member. I determined the location of property flood zone using Map Service Center, reviewed elevation certificates for accurate rating, and advised on measures to take for potential qualification of Letter of Map Change (LOMC). It was important to document via log notes all incoming and outgoing telephone inquiries into the NFIP intake database; provide FEMA/NFIP referral information, policy/claims status accurately, and adhere to response procedures/processes to address policyholders, insurance carriers, mortgage lenders, real estate agents, Floodplain Administrators, land surveyors, and engineers’ inquiries. I achieved exceptional customer service while maintaining productivity levels in conjunction with call volume, as well as, provided one-on-one training to incoming Reservists in Floodplain Management, Flood Insurance, Risk Reduction, Risk Analysis, and completion of the Intake Spreadsheet. Analyzed and performed quality and assurance for NFIP Intake Spreadsheets submitted from 30 agents. Based on the data collected on each spreadsheet, I had to deliver a report for escalated inquiries from 30 agents to SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) to resolve on a daily basis. In addition, I compiled, produced and submitted trends from weekly reports statistics to Deputy Project Manager and Project Manager. I was tasked to support in setting up trainings on updates on intake spreadsheet for agents, assist in the writing and revision of Standard Operating Procedures for NFIP Program; assisted in extracting, classifying and verifying data trends to produce weekly reports to upper management to provide to Headquarters in Washington on status of pilot program. I gained incredible experience having been a part of a highly profiled National project. The Federal Insurance Mitigation Administration (FIMA) Hurricane Sandy Flood Insurance Claims Review Intake Line for English and Spanish speaking clients.
As an Emergency Management Specialist I conducted telephone interviews in both English and Spanish to register applicants for disaster assistance or handle additional requests for information, assistance, and problem resolution. An intricate part of my duties were to assist applicants by telephone to determine needs, provide instructions, and referrals to appropriate disaster programs, community resources, and other Federal agencies; as appropriate and provide information and explanation of Housing Assistance, Other Needs Assistance Grants, and other programs to applicants. Furthermore, I conducted verification activities to determine eligibility of applicants for disaster assistance. Identified disaster related trends and make recommendations to improve processes.
