Project Experience Summary

  • Irvine Ranch Water District, Recycled Water Coordinator for the IRWD Recycled water inspection and testing program since 2012. Responsible for the Supervision of two Consultant firms with a total of 10 Inspectors, each hired by the district to assist with the implementation of the on-going Recycled Water Inspection and Testing program for commercial recycled water sites. Duties involve creating tasks for Staff and Consultants, Sending notifications to Customers, Supervising the inspectors, handing out work to perform around 2500 Inspections annually, approving invoices, attending meetings, following up on issues with H.O.A’s.
  • Irvine Ranch Water District, Recycled Water Coordinator and Field Inspector for the Recycled water inspection and testing program for over 700 Residential Dual Plumbed lots. These residential projects each require an annual inspection and test of their recycled water meter. Duties include Sending notifications, inspecting sites, keeping track of work to be completed, assigning work to other IRWD Staff members, keeping track of inspected and pending sites, and reporting to the Regulatory Agencies.
  • Irvine Ranch Water District, Responsible for on-site inspections on new construction Dual Plumbed Single Family Custom Homes using Recycled Water for full yard irrigation. Duties include, but not limited to plan checking irrigation plans, inspecting piping, trenches, backflow devices for proper installation, separations between domestic water and recycled water piping, Cross Connection testing and final inspections in conjunction with State and County Health Departments.
  • Irvine Ranch Water District, Responsible for on-site inspections on Dual Plumbed High-Rise Buildings using recycled water for cooling towers, toilets, urinals, and trap primers. Duties include the creation of an Engineering Report to be approved by the State and County Health Departments, plan checking irrigation plans, civil plans, plumbing plans, and mechanical plans. Inspecting all piping, trenches, backflow devices, separations between domestic water and recycled water piping within the building, interactions with Contractors, and State and County Health Inspectors.
  • Irvine Ranch Water District, Responsible for on-site inspections on Commercial HOA sites and parks using recycled water for the irrigation system. Duties include inspection of all piping, trenches, separations between domestic water and recycled water, cross connection test and final coverage test. Interactions with Landscape Companies and H.O.A. representatives.
  • Irvine Ranch Water District, Extensive experience with Title 17 - Backflow device testing, installation, requirements and applications and extensive experience with Title 22 – regarding Recycled water Current and upcoming Regulations.
  • Irvine Ranch Water District, Responsible for working alongside the I.S Department to come up with our RW report database requirements to obtain the latest data from CC&B for creating work and reporting.

  • Irvine Ranch Water District, Responsible for performing Conversions from potable waters systems to recycled water systems, worked directly with District Engineers to obtain site Hydraulic Analyses and Performing a site study.
  • Irvine Ranch Water District, Reviewed and approved over 800 Recycled water Plans varying from regular Recycled Water Irrigation to Podium Style RW irrigation, Dual Source irrigation, Dual Plumbed Commercial and Dual Plumbed Residential uses, Agriculture, Cooling towers, Industrial uses etc.
  • Irvine Ranch Water District, Responsible for the Engineering Report approval, Plan approval and Inspections of Potable to Recycled water conversion for the Royalty Carpet Mills in Irvine, CA. This Carpet factory used over 200 AF/ year of Recycled water for carpet dying purposes.
  • CGvL Engineering, Served as a contract inspector for Moulton Niguel Water District located in Aliso Viejo, Ca. Responsibilities include inspection of on-site construction improvements to irrigation systems, backflow prevention, adequate separation between domestic water and recycled water, coverage test, proper system identification, Review record drawings, cross connection testing, coordination of inspection scheduling to confirm compliance with Water District’s recycled water rules and regulations, annual inspections on existing recycled water systems and monitoring to ensure compliance with District Rules and Regulations, survey existing domestic water irrigation sites to determine if they qualify to be converted to recycled water.
