In this position, I oversee auto body repairs completed by direct repair facilities for Farmers Insurance. This includes ensuring warranty repairs are upheld/addressed and holding auto body shops that are assigned to me accountable to behaviors/standards they agreed to when joining a partnership with Farmers Insurance. I also complete review of estimates written by these shop to confirm estimates are in line with the loss and protocols set forth by Farmers. I have been over anywhere from 50 to 70 shops at one time.

Reviewed estimates completed by our Guaranteed Repair Program body shops in order to send payment to customer in lieu of repairs for vehicle damages.

Investigated and determined liability in claims by getting statements from the drivers involved, ordering police report, and determining if/what coverage applies.

Received and reviewed estimates from our customer's shop of choice and reviewed damages to complete an estimate based on which payment would be the customer.

Reviewed estimates submitted for additional payments for vehicle auto body repairs after an initial payment and estimate had been completed.

Received and reviewed estimates for auto body repairs completed by other insurance carriers for reimbursement.

Determined liability in auto collision losses by obtaining statements, police reports, and independent witness statements.
