Post Anesthesia Care Unit Nurse:

• Responsible for post-operative care of the patient
• Monitor resolution of anesthesia

• Responsible for post-operative assessment prior to patient's transfer to ward
• Responsible in transferring and endorsing the patient to ward once patient is assess for trans-out

Labor Room Nurse/Delivery Room Nurse:

• Monitor vital signs, fetal heart tone and progress of labor
• Updates the attending physician, anesthesiologist and pediatrician on patient's progress of labor
• Instructs patient on how to properly bear down during the delivery of baby
• Assist attending physician in the delivery of the newborn

Special Care Unit Nurse:

• Responsible in preparing the materials that will be needed in receiving the newborn
• Assist pediatricians in invasive and non-invasive procedures
