Accomplishments

Some of my accomplishments include: Certificates for a WOW program, AeroStars Program, the Union League Boys and Girls Club and the Job Development Program. The WOW program is an Working on Womanhood program, which allows female teens from their freshman through junior year to work on their transition to womanhood. Meaning, learning skills like controlling emotions, identity, communication skills and responsibilities. After completing this program I recieved an certificate for completing two successful years in the program. Moving on, I previously completed an program called, "AeroStars," during this program we learned about Aero-Science and Aviation.

Thirdly, I have also previosuly completed two years doing a program in the Union League Boys and Girls Club. This program took place at my school, Air Force Academy High School, where we did a Peace March, Feeding the Homeless and planned a major event every summer, a Block Party. During this program, I have designed posters for the peace march as well as on the Marketing team for the Block Party. On the Marketing team, I designed flyers and posted them on social media platforms as well as posted them throughout neighborhoods. As for feeding the homeless, we (my colleges and I) prepared sandwiches, drinks and chips for the homeless shelters and went to give them out.

Additionally, at school, I organized a Well-Being Summit for my Well-Being Pioneers group at school. During this Summit, I organized flyers, posted them around school, planned the layout amd activities for the summit. The Summit was held to hear our students voice and talk about Mental Health. Also, my principle, Dr. Captain Tippet-Eggleston, has always trusted me to do work with her in her officer and anything thag has to do with the school.

I am also in AFJROTC, I have been promoted to 1st Lieutenant for demonstarting excellent skills and disipline, as well as with the trust of our JROTC Instructor and our school Commadant Lt Colonel Yuchiyama. I was also on my schools Color Guard team for one year. I was also on my school Junior Varsity and Varsity Girls Volleyball for three years straight.

Finally, I am currently enrolled in a Job Development Program. In this program, we learn about the work-world, learn professionalism, learn about resumes, prepare for interviews, creating a reputation for yourself, motivation and finding your purpose in this world. We also learn job skills like communication, team work, emailing, writing, asking for help when needed, etc.
