ITU Service Rounding RN:

• Lead morning rounds for the Intensive Treatment Service, formulating comprehensive care plans and delivering recommendations to optimize treatment strategies specific to patients with substance use disorders. Worked in collaboration. , Nurse Practitioner, and Attending provider.

Meyer 3 Charge Nurse:

• Responsible for managing overall patient care, supervising unit staff, and coordinating clinical and operational aspects to meet unit-specific requirements. Responsibilities include overseeing staffing for Meyer 3 and the Psychiatric Emergency Department (Psych ED), leading responses to behavioral and medical emergencies, and collaborating with the patient data coordinator to facilitate the movement of patients from the Psych ED and other units.

Psych ED Charge Nurse:

• I oversee comprehensive patient care, supervising unit personnel and managing patient dispositions across the psychiatric and emergency departments. Specific duties include triaging psychiatric and medical patients, offering recommendations to medical and psychiatric providers, handling behavioral and medical emergencies while prioritizing staff safety, coordinating patient care with the ED shift coordinator during high patient volumes, and accepting Emergency Petitions from Police and Emergency Service Personnel.

RN Preceptor:

• Exemplifying professionalism, ethical behavior, and best practices in nursing, serving as a role model for nurses new to the unit, the profession, and the different roles of a psychiatric nurse.
