FastenMaster:
Both projects I tested and found the shear strength and ultimate loads our fasteners could maintain before failure on Instron. Both tests I would pair the cut boards for testing by finding their SG and categorizing them in spreadsheets. The firewall test represented corridors, hallways, and stairways you would find in large wood-based apartments. My tests evaluated which of our products was the strongest. The data was then presented to compare our values to competitors, then proposed for future meetings to establish future spending for advertising, sending back to Qualtim/DRJ to revamp ESR. Increasing strength Analysis had similar premise, except project solely tested FlatLOK Fasteners. This had a whole new and different assembly I designed, and I tested it on a rig I constructed. Results proved my hypothesis right that there would increase in ultimate load as the fastener length increased, and proposed we need to revamp the products ESR/TER. Opened the door for future meeting for retesting the products and making new evaluation reports.
Nicaraguan School Development:
In April 2018, I traveled to Nicaragua for two weeks where I was able to work on the floor foundation and development for a school in Granada. I worked with the concrete mixing for the floor along with installing rebar in the foundation with the locals.
