As an activity leader I led a variety of programs including, day camps, Parent's night outs, crafts, climbing wall, archery, cooking and worked with bike and boat rentals. I worked on registering participants for classes and activities. I led the archery program during my time working there which included, creating new games and activities for the participants, setting up for the activity, running the activity and dictating clear instructions, and packing up the activity. I did a lot of work with children during these activities during day camps as well as archery and climbing wall. In day camps we led small crafts and activities while being flexible to work with kids and allow them to have the best experience possible. This experience taught me many valuable lessons including, how to be flexible in new situations in order for events to run smoothly, the ability to provide better customer service and to work flexibly with coworkers with shift changes and schedule adaptations. I also worked at the desk selling programs and packages. I answered phone calls and recommended customers to programs or separate facilities based on their personal needs.
