Jack Cornell

I am a first year student here at Roger Williams University. I am studying finance at the accredited Gabelli School of Business and I am eager to secure an internship for this summer. I do not have direct work experience in the business field however I do have experience with numbers and budgeting. I started my own landscaping business in my hometown of Kennebunk Maine and was lucky enough to be one of the head landscapers for former President George W Bush and first Lady Laura Bush. I will be entering my 5th year in doing so come April. I am a very hard worker and an exceptionally motivated individual. This past fall I became extremely familiar with the ins and outs of Microsoft Excel a skill I expect to be very helpful in this area of work. I am a very quick learner and I am ready to get real finance experience.

I played quarterback for my highschool football team. I gained a lot of skills while playing and believe that some of these skills can even translate into the workforce. I was a two year captain for my lacrosse team and I was chosen as a captain because of my maturity, work ethic and leadership.
