  • Tasking includes early project planning, document creation, document maintenance, acceptance of final testing data for certification, and archiving final results
  • Involves making the best plan for testing before the ship arrives for maintenance, and maintaining dynamic alternate plans for changing work scopes and changing shipboard conditions after the maintenance begins
  • Test planning, coordination, and dynamic adjustments continue through the project execution phase as new repair needs are found
  • Lead level test engineering position working with other PTPEs to coordinate and delegate test writing cell assignments based on project priorities and test complexity
  • Serve as a mentor and coach to junior team members working towards PTPE qualification who start as test writers in the test writing cell
  • Area of responsibility covers all Hull, Mechanical, & Electrical (HME&E) equipment
