Jack King

This has been my summer job since the summer following my sophomore year of high school. I worked 6 days a week starting at 5:30 or 5 in the morning depending on the day and what events were at the course. Over the course of three summers, I have worked my way up to something of a management position where I was often in charge of training new employees and was put in charge of many larger operations we underwent around the course. In my time there, we worked our way up into the top ten golf courses in Massachusetts list in Golf Digest.

Starting around the winter of my sophomore year of high school, I was given the privilege of doing any and all announcements at my school's home basketball games, including starting lineups, ground rules, introducing any halftime performers, etc. I would hold this paid position for the rest of my time in high school. I was also called on nearly every time to announce/emcee any pep rallies, student vs. faculty games, and countless other school events.
