At Alvirne High School I took a Construction course for two years, learning about all the tools, different materials, and how to build a shed. Last year I competed in Skills USA and it was a great experience and a learning opportunity. I was able to build a chicken coop from scratch, I did the siding, roofing, small doors, cutting and a bunch more for this project. I helped on a mini-house by working on the inside and measure and cutting out pieces for the frame of the wall and two small closest. I helped make two sliding doors and two normal doors, and I used the chisel to make the outline for the door hinges.
