I believe there are two benefits of dance, there is the bringing of joy and there is the education of culture and skill. I believe all children deserve both, and I try to bring that to my class whether in a foster care home or studio, either way the mission is the same. Everyone regardless of mental or physical challenges has the natural impulse to move to music and yearns to build an identity.
