Jack Nangle

In the Event Management internship I work with the Purdue Athletics Department to aid in the set-up, success, and management of all varsity athletic events on Purdue’s campus.

As a project management intern at Westtown School I worked closely with the Westtown Auxiliary Department, FInance Department, and school vendors to schedule and create additional auxiliary programs, summer camps, athletic tournaments, and other extracurricular activities on campus.

Gained important hands-on experience with working with vendors, product development, and project management.

At Wedgewood Swim Club I was an assistant coach for a team of ~300 swimmers. I specialized in coaching younger age groups and was the head coach for the 12u and 10u teams which consists of ~100 swimmers. When I was not directly coaching the groups I handle the team data and spreadsheets working on making line-ups for the team’s in-season swim meets.

Started as a lifeguard in 2019. I moved up to head lifeguard, then lake manager, and finally operations manager over my time at Westtown. As Operations Manager I managed 10-15 Lifeguards annually while overseeing and coordinating aquatic activities and operations like canoeing, swim lessons, and open swimming. I worked with a team of other managers to ensure that camp operations run smoothly throughout the day.
