I recently graduated from Yavapai College's gunsmithing program, where I spent two years learning how to build, repair, and customize firearms professionally and legally. Gunsmithing isn't just taking guns apart and putting them back together; it involves tons of other knowledge, such as machining, grinding, tool and jig designing, 3D printing, welding, heat treatment, CAM, and CAD, etc. I can proudly say that the school has taught me almost everything that I need to survive in a machine shop environment.
