UCLA Center for Prehospital Care Research Forum (PCRF) Workshop

Los Angeles, CA - April 2025 (75 project hours) 

  • Participated in biostatistics-based health equity research workshop led by principle research scientists as well as other graduate and undergraduate students.
  • Assisted in design of a public health observational study where we applied various statistical models to evaluate disparities within healthcare access in a wide range of social indices across the United States.

  

UCLA Center for Prehospital Care Research Forum (PCRF) Workshop

Buffalo, NY - June 2025 (75 project hours)

  • Participated in an additional biostatistics-based research workshop, collaborating with a team of other undergraduate students led by an epidemiologist (PhD) and an emergency medicine physician (MD).
  • Co-designed and conducted a retrospective cohort study using a national prehospital dataset, specifically looking at airway devices in pediatric trauma patients.
