I have worked in the retail, restaurant, and manufacturing sectors. I have experience in inventory management, scheduling, quality control, guest service, production and production oversight, and vendor relations.
Currently I work in the Inventory Department performing audits and locating misplaced product. As the Team Lead in Small Lot I oversaw the picker team. I ensured the proper training of all new employees and kept track of their progress. I also helped to get picks out on time when there was a problem with the pick. I also performed daily audits of Small Lot using the SWS. I tracked our daily and weekly performance to ensure compliance with Ryder principals and procedures. I worked with the putaway team to help make sure that parts were properly stocked in pick locations and reserve locations. I worked with management to help find parts that had not been sent to the GM plant and got them to the plant in a timely manner. I communicated regularly with other Team leads in Small Lot and with management to help our department run smoothly. Before becoming a Team Lead I was a picker in Small Lot. Following the pick sheet, I scanned parts out of their assigned location and entered the minimums when necessary. I ensured that parts were in the correct order on the hat and wrapped them so that they could be safely transported to the GM plant. I also helped other team members when they were having a hard time with their pick so that it would go out on time. As part of my routine, I performed a nightly checklist on my tugger and I signed the necessary paperwork for it and the scanner I was using.
