• Witness, guide and inspect all surface preparation to ensure proper cleanliness is being done on field joints prior to coating FBE.
• Witness the mixing process of the FBE coating to ensure proper mixture according to manufacture
• Ensure proper coating application techniques are being completed when coating field joints.
• Inspect the field welds using textex tape, micrometer, hygrometer, dry film thickness gage and high voltage holiday detector (spark test) to ensure the work performed meets client requirements.
• Document all results on the daily QA/QC report for recording purposes.

• Coordinate with client to obtain job scopes for job walks
• Assist crew with organizing the daily tasks to ensure a successful job completion.
• Review and enforce client specification for Coatings and Insulation.
• Inspect surface preparation, coating application, and proper insulation installation.
• Document all that was inspected on daily QC reports and get final sign offs by client.
• Utilize inspection tools such as Anchor Profile Tape, Micrometer, DFT gauges, Hygrometers etc.
• obtain pictures of each step to add to the daily reports for proper documentation.
• Walk out final job and obtain client signature once job is finalized.
• Utilize Rope access equipment in order to perform mechanical work and/ or inspections.
• Assist with setting up or rigging up ropes access equipment in order to access the work area.

• Walk out job scope with TC Energy personnel to give time durations for completion of work.
• Thoroughly review client specification in order to properly order material, equipment and properly plan the jobs.
• Organize crews on a day to day basis and help guide them for a successful completion of the daily work completion goals.
• Inspect all steps of the job such as; proper masking, surface preparation, coating application, de-masking and final walk through before clients review.
• Utilize inspection equipment such as; sling phsychrometer, DFT gauge, micrometer, Tex-Tex tape, high voltage holiday detector etc.
• Collect inventory data of all material being used in order to ensure the crew doesn’t run out of product or that we weren’t over ordering to help with the budget.
• Fill out daily QC reports to ensure proper documentation for the company and client.
• Come up with quick solutions and problem solving when something didn’t go as planned
