Working as an assistant to our paralegals and attorneys at a medical malpractice law firm. My duties include ordering subpoenas, summarizing discovery responses, putting together litigation binders, and communicating with experts on our cases.

  • Had to engage in rigorous research about legal precedents, current implications, and related court cases when making my argument to a panel of judges.

  • Made scheduling templates for employees, published those said schedules, and helped employees with any issues or concerns in their schedules.
  • We had an accountability system for employees calling out or missing shifts, and it was my job to document those call-outs or missed shifts and have meetings accordingly to discuss performance.

  • As a lead, after we were done with events, I would be required to fill out the money intake forms and give them to my supervisor as to make sure no money was lost or unaccounted for.
