Accomplishments

I ran a middle school health office during the covid outbreak and beyond, overseen by RN only onsite part time, with all patient care, parent contact and records keeping involved. I unlocked office in morning and was responsible for daily medication administration and diabetes care for students. My job involved quick assessment of situations and careful handling of individuals needs and communication with involved parents. I successfully managed this for many years despite its many complications and pitfalls. I have no parent complaints on my record, nor patient complaints, and my work was always towards transparently helpful care in aid of students in school. I have used translation services for communication, complied with all school protocols in finding transport for ill students without ready transport, and have followed all medical protocols and emergency protocols. I maintained a cheerful and calming space for my students and provided for their well being, and was regularly called upon by staff and teachers to take charge of students.

Certification

I am a certified massage therapist taking courses currently to make my license current (expired May 2025). I specialize in full body Swedish massage with elements of shiatsu and fascial techniques informed by an intensive education of anatomy. I am able to assess bodily stress points and address them within my practice and scope. I am concurrently a certified Medical Specialist so I am fully experienced in assessing vital signs and conditions, as well as currently CPR/AED certified.
