  • My daily tasks consist of stocking the coaches fridge with drinks, the printers of different types of paper, coffee ingredients, snacks in the break room along with cups for the drink station. I also check mail for the entire office. Once a week, I also check Coach Brian Kelly’s personal mail.l once a week.
  • When I’m not running around, I’m sitting at the front desk, letting people in with a remote connected to our front and side doors, and taking phone calls.
  • I run other mail, exchange packages between LSU employees, and help whoever I can in the office
  • I also work my Boss’s gameday tailgate. On Fridays, my responsibilities consist of driving a golf cart loaded with drinks to drop off at the tailgate, and to make sure the layout is to my boss's liking. Working during game day allows me to give Coaches families rides to Tiger Stadium or wherever else they may need.

  • My favorite part about this job was I had to sell memberships
  • This allowed me to engage in customers, really learn how to use promo sales, and understand the art of the deal
  • There were multiple times where I sold the most memberships out of my coworkers and I
  • When I wasn’t at the pay station, I was leading cars into the tunnel, stocking towels, putting them in the washer, and folding them when they were done
  • I emptied vacuums, picked up trash in the lot, pressure washed the tunnel, and blew the dust and rocks off the concrete
  • I also surveyed customers based off their experience and handed out free air fresheners

Xotic Pawn

  • One of my various responsibilities at Xotic was cleaning things so they could be listed for sale
  • I would negotiate prices as well, when selling, pawning, and buying items
  • I dealt with customers one on one to find out what they needed
  • I mopped and swept the floors, and ran errands to get boxes and shipping materials
  • After a few months, I was given access to our company’s facebook page and was assigned to run our facebook marketplace
  • I would take pictures and videos of our items, set the prices and description, post them, and communicate with people who were interested

Busser / Expo

Sarita’s Grill and Cantina

  • I began my career at Sarita’s as a busser
  • My roles consisted of picking up used plates, cups, silverware, and anything really that needed to be cleaned up
  • I would then wipe the table and take my pan to the book to sort the dishes into compartments to be cleaned
  • After that was done, I would grab silverware and reset the table
  • When I wasn’t busy doing that, I would help refill chips and salsa, along with storing cups for the waiters
  • I would occasionally help with opening and closing depending on my schedule by sweeping the floors, putting chairs on tops of tables, refilling salt and pepper, and anything else that was needed
  • After a little over a year of cleaning tables, I was promoted to Expo
  • My role wasn’t as mobile, but I made sure foods went to certain trays and I organized them so servers could carry them out
  • If they were too busy, I would run the food to their tables for them as well
  • As extra duties, I restocked the queso and bean dips, along with cooked tortillas when we needed them
