Summary

Throughout my last year of high school when it came time to make plans for my future I knew college wasn't the route I wanted to go. I knew I wanted to do something in motor sports and nothing came to my mind more than being a Monster Jam Tech Official. As someone who has been a monster truck enthusiast for 17 years now I knew it would be the perfect job for me to chase. I got some experience working club for 4 separate weekends of the 2023 first half. Those being: Worcester, MA, Albany, NY, and Manchester, NH with arena tour east, and Foxborough, MA with stadium tour red. I came into every one of these weekends ready to do my best work with high hopes of being a successful candidate for Tech Official by the 2024 season. I ended up enjoying the line of work very much and connecting easily with the Tech Officials and PSM's I had worked for. I enjoyed listening very closely to all the calls on the radio that the PSM and Tech Officials were making throughout events and always made sure when I was needed or checking if there was anything for me to do if the day was going slow. I do plan on seeking more opportunities to work club at more shows for the remainder of 2023 and would be ecstatic to be hired for the 2024 season.
