As a hauler for DS Services, my main goal is to make sure products get delivered to select locations on time and un-damaged while ensuring my truck is safe for the road and up to date on its maintenance. Below are some of the daily tasks that come with the job.

• Make sure my truck is running smoothly and is up to date on its maintenance.
• Changing cab/air filters when necessary.
• Checking oil and coolant levels and topping off when needed
• Checking air brakes and making sure air fittings are not leaking
• Plan and manage daily routes.
• Maintain an organized schedule to balance sales activities with deliveries and service calls.
• Deliver products on time and in full.
• Provide daily or weekly reports about current truck condition.
• Follow proper vehicle maintenance procedures and ensure the delivery vehicle is stocked, clean, and in good working condition.

As a control tech at crystal clear water I was in charge of wiring new systems and plumbing them in, the job called for electrical and plumbing skills. Below were some of the daily tasks.

• Install, set up, and test water filtration, softening, and purification systems for residential and commercial properties.
• Configure equipment for good water flow and ensuring all components are securely connected
• Perform routine maintenance on water treatment systems, such as replacing filters, cleaning components, and ensuring the system is operating correctly.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with water softeners, filtration systems, and reverse osmosis units. Provide repairs and restore service.
• Conduct water tests to check the effectiveness of the installed systems, checking for contaminants.
• Analyze test results and make adjustments or upgrades to improve water quality.
• Educate homeowners on how there machine works.
• Comply with local health and safety regulations.

As a beginner electrician at Avis electric I was tasked to work under the wing of a journeyman electrician, fish-taping wire, troubleshooting, wiring commercial air handlers and bending pipe were some of the most common things I did. Below are some of the key things I did

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial, or industrial settings under the supervision of a journeyman or master electrician
• Learn and adhere to electrical codes safety protocols, and regulations to ensure safe and compliant work practices.
• Help with wiring installations, including running electrical cables, connecting circuits, and installing electrical outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, assisting in identifying faults and repairing defective electrical components.
• Manage tools and equipment, making sure they are properly maintained and available for use, while following safety standards.
• Prepare job sites by organizing tools, materials, and equipment, and helping with the cleanup after each task is completed.
