I have volunteered for a few people and organizations. Some of that includes work for Moorpark High School's annual Battle of the Bands, where I sold and made custom-made merchandise to customers. Another place I have volunteered for was the Ventura County Sheriff's Office, helping to set up events as well as working booths. I also like to work with my school's athletic trainer, where I will communicate with different players and coaches, and help them if someone is injured, needs to be taped, or get iced.
A lot of this job requires me to be versatile as it involves me working in various conditions, rather it be in a hallway or crawl space i can barely move in. I also clean and organize our work area and tools. My father teaches me different skills and helps me identify parts of what we are doing in each job.
I did Martial Arts for 5 years, where I eventually got my Black Belt which was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. In that time I learned multiple skills and values like perseverance, integrity, and overall just being a better person by giving back to my community. I assisted with classes and helped kids learn new skills, rather it be physical or mental. I also helped kids in the after-school program with their homework before their classes started.
