  • I clean all the golf carts and clubs, I get people their clubs when they arrive and bring them to their car, and I am also in charge of cleaning the balls off the driving range
  • The majority of my job involves customer service skills as I am constantly interacting with all of the players and helping them with whatever it is they need
  • Additionally, I work in the pro shop at times where I am in charge of answering the phone as well as dealing with all merchandise purchases
  • Lastly, I was chosen by my boss to be his assistant in the junior golf clinics he runs throughout the summer
  • In these clinics, I teach children ages 5-14 how to play golf

  • I also work at Otto, which is a pizza restaurant
  • I work here mainly in the fall and winter and I now work in the kitchen as a cook
  • I started working here when they opened almost two years ago and I began as a cashier/food runner but later decided I wanted to work in the kitchen because I love to cook and thought it would be a good fit for me
  • In the kitchen I lead my peers as I am experienced in the field and have worked at the restaurant since it opened
  • I have consistently communicated fully in Spanish with my coworkers in the kitchen and trained numerous coworkers who only speak Spanish.

  • Here I mainly washed carts, filled them up with gas, and maintained the driving range by picking up all the balls
  • I enjoyed this job but was looking for one where I got to interact with customers more
  • I only stopped working here because I got offered a position at Indian Ridge which is a nice golf course that is closer to my house
