Research Lab - California State University, Los Angeles. I experimented for an alternative and more efficient treatment of Bacterial vaginosis due to growing resistance to drug-based therapies and negative drug side effects. I directly worked with the strains C. albicans, G. vaginalis, and L. crispatus in the treatment of low-level LED blue light therapy, and the wavelengths chosen caused inhibition and cell death due to induction and an increase of reactive oxygen species intracellular accumulation. The experiments are still occurring in the research lab to develop studies and experiment further using the prototype for clinical use. (420 Hours) 05/2022 - 12/2023
