Jacob Black

Working in Cobeen Dining Hall taught and reinforced many of my current working skills. It reinforced my work ethic. I have always had a strong work ethic, but working in a dining hall allowed me to put that work ethic into cleaning and serving food. Working in Cobeen taught me to be a better communicator. I would say that I am still more of an introverted person, but I have become much better at balancing not being scared to ask for help if I need it while still making sure that I work out problems on my own. Finally, working at Cobeen taught me some responsibility. Waking up early on the weekends after not getting much sleep that week was not for fun, it was because I was committed to the job I had and making sure that I would get there on time.
