A talent-driven, people focused, determined mindset is what has led me to the success I have had up to this point in my career. After becoming a CPA, my focus has turned to my position as a state and local tax professional at BDO. During my work in state and local tax, I have been exposed to numerous different industries and client issues. Sales taxability, nexus studies, due diligence, audit defense, and many other areas have highlighted my time so far with the firm. Additionally, working together on a BDO engagement team has grown my interpersonal communication skills, as collaborating with other BDO employees requires constant open communication.
